I have been looking ...It is a very extensive field. I have been looking at Auden's Oxford Book of Light Verse. Much of it is not exactly light but popular or anonymous verse. There is also Gavin Ewart's anthology for Faber and my treasured three-volume Penguin of Comic and Curious Verse etc, edited by the Cohens.<br /><br />We forget Stevie Smith at our peril.
